Monday was my first giveaway and you still have plenty of time to enter it here. It’s free people! Why wouldn’t you want to win?Last week was our Monthly Pinterest Girls Night Out. I have been working on items for my first annual Winter Blues party that I am hosting at the end of the month. So many of our friends have annual parties at Christmas, 4th of July, October for an Octoberfiesta. So we decided we wanted an annual party that was a little different. More on that later in a future post. I wanted to make a snowflake winter wreath to go along with our snowflake theme Winter Blues party. Here is a picture of the final product. It still needs some trimming. I will do that before I hang it after Valentine’s Day.
I LOVE it! I love how it sparkled and of course the glitter
I made this for about $10.00. Here is what you’ll need:
- Wreath form
- Glitter ribbon
- Blue tulle spool
- White tulle spool
- 3 Snowflake ornaments (I got all my snowflake decor from a great and cheap party store here)
- Hot glue
I already had the white tulle and snowflake wired glitter ribbon. I just had to purchase the other items. You will need to cut many pieces of ribbon and tulle. My ribbon was cut to approximately 11″ long and my tulle only 9″ long. You will then tie them on the wreath form in a double knot. I did mine in the pattern of blue tulle, ribbon and white tulle. If you think it’s too long you can always trim it when you are done. I then hot glued two snowflakes onto the wreath form. I used tulle to hang the snowflake down the center of the wreath. Tulle and ribbon wreaths are so simple! This took me about 2 hours from start to finish.
I can’t wait to show you the pictures from the party but until then, I will be featuring the items I’m making for the party in upcoming posts. I hope you all have a great day and go and glitterize your world!

I’d be delighted if you shared them with us at Inspire Me Monday, my week-long creative party (if you do, I have a feeling this one might get pinned on my Wreath board on Pinterest!)
