Spring/Easter Ribbon Topiary

Please vote for me here: it only takes one click!!!

I loved creating this centerpiece for my mantel with leftover ribbon and tulle from my Easter wreath found here:

Here are the items you’ll need:

  • 4″ Styrofoam ball
  • dowel fit to size
  • styrofoam insert
  • bucket of choice
  • colorful gems from the Dollar Tree to weigh down the topiary
  • variety of ribbon
  • tulle
  • pearl tipped straight pins

Place your dowel into the 4″ styrofoam ball. Start by cutting the ribbon to size. Folder over and using a straight pin, pin the ribbon to the styrofoam ball.

Here is a photo of the folded over ribbon. Just pin to the ball and repeat :)

Once I did this with all the ribbon and tulle I then inserted the dowel into the foam insert. Placed it in the polka dot bucket and filled with blue gems from the Dollar Tree.

This ribbon topiary was very inexpensive to create since I had the ribbon on hand from the wreath I made. You can customize these for any occasion. I think its super cute.

What are you making for this Spring/Easter?
