Toot Your Horn Tuesday

You are probably wondering where the Toot Your Horn Tuesday Link Party is. Well, I have decided to no longer host a link party. This was a hard decision to make. I am going back to work full time on Sept. 10th and I know that I would not be able to diligently keep up with the link party and giving the links the proper exposure and promotion they deserve. There is nothing worse than linking up and and the host doesn’t even do features or shout outs. I mean, what’s the point? You are trying to get your blog out there. You deserve a great host!!!

I will keep blogging and share things I create along the way but I am looking forward to going back to work. My Mom said, I was a happier person when I worked. I stopped working when my son turned 2 1/2 and now he is in first grade. I was able to be home during my pregnancy and first 16 months with our second son. It has truly been a blessing but I am so ready to get back to work, have a career, a clean house (since my kids won’t be home during the day) and a routine! I hope you all understand. Thanks so much for making this party awesome! I loved every minute of it and I am truly going to miss being inspired by each and everyone one of you :)

Thanks for hosting it for so long. I had the pleasure of joining it a few times. I am a full time working mama and I can barely crank out a blog post a week. I would rather spend time with the family. Take care !

Hi Deb! I just saw this post for the first time… Just goes to show how out of touch I’ve been this summer. LOL I’ll miss the parties, but I think it’s great that you’re going back to something that you know has made you happy in the past. As women, it’s not often that we pay attention to our own little voice and we really should. We can “have it all”. I won’t say goodbye because I know we’ll be seeing each other around the interwebs. Hope you’re having a great transition back to the “outside workplace”! Hugs, Mary
