I am so excited today to share with you an amazing opportunity for not only your school but for YOU as well. I am a huge proponent of Box Tops for Education. It’s FREE money for your school! A lot of people don’t realize what that little Box Top can do for a school. Well, I am here to tell you. Last year was the first year our school, Gower Elementary School, no longer received special funding from the government. If you have a certain percentage of students qualify for free/reduced lunches then your school qualifies for special funding. Well we missed the threshold and just fell short.  This was tens of thousands of dollars that we have to make up. That funding helped support academic programs in our school.

JingIt is teaming up with Box Tops for Education. All you have to do is download the FREE app:

Once you download the app then you register yourself and most importantly you select the school that you want the Box Tops for Education to be allocated to. Then, here’s the fun part, when you go shopping at Walmart, you check-in with the App:

Choose the check-in feature. It will then give you a list of products to choose from that you can scan with your phone. You click on a product:

I chose Totino’s. It wants me to scan the barcode of 3 different pizzas. I choose check-in and it tells me which ones to scan. After scanning I am asked a quick question, referred to as their survery, and I am done. I earned 4 Box Tops, I earned $1.00 and I provided them with brand education. How cool is that?
