DIY Wedding Tile with Vinyl

I know it’s been a long time since I posted something. I LOVE my job and I have been a busy bee :) I can’t wait to show you a wedding tile I made for a blog giveaway. You create it in your Silhouette and place it on a 12×12 tile. It’s GORGEOUS to a capital G! Let’s take a look:

All I did was create this in Silhouette and print it out on vinyl. Once I weeded my vinyl I adhered it to the tile. This was a quick and easy project. Now I am going to show you how to create this in the Silhouette software.

Once I found the scroll I wanted from the Online Store at Silhouette I knew I needed two if them and I wanted a mirror image. It’s so easy to create this in the software. Let me show you step 1:

You will highlight the object you want to duplicate. Then you will click on Edit, Duplicate. It will then give you a second image on your screen. Now to get the mirror image you need to determine if it needs to be flipped horizontally or vertically. I needed mine to flip vertically. Here is what that looks like next:

You click on Object, Transform and Flip Vertically. Now I have a mirror image of my scroll. YAY!

The last name was done in Times News Roman all in captial letters and everything else was done in the Andalus font. I love this project. Quick, easy and beautiful and a one of a kind gift!

All the vinyl projects out there are making me want to purchase a vinyl cutting machine/system. What would I need to purchase to get started with this?
